So it's seems to be nearing Christmas in this place. How wonderful. I didn't even know this place celebrated that holiday. It was nearing Christmas back in Sternbild as well before I was brought to this place.

[He sighs.]

The Christmas season always feels me with a kind of nostalgic feeling. It also brings back memories of Christmas past. Some good and some bad.

[He quickly changes the subject.]

But enough about that. I have a question about employment here. Since it seems I'm going to stuck in this place for a while, I would like to find a job here. Are there any employment opportunities or openings in this city?

Maverick is a NEXT with the power to alter and manipulate a person's memories. All he has to do is touch your head for his power to work on you. This power can be explained as like someone putting layers and layers of new wallpaper on top of old paper. Rip off the new paper and the old paper is still there. So like with his powers, the old memories are still there but they are covered with the manipulated and altered fake memories. All it would take is the slightest contradiction for the person to remember the real memories.
